The hydrangea paniculata (I suspect it’s Limelight, but I’m not positive) is coming into bloom.
My son is pretending the daylily is a fire flower from Super Mario Bros. Here, he’s shooting fireballs at a hydrangea across the yard.
These yellow perennials are looking a little ratty, but the bees don’t care.
Caterpillar on my herbs! Cute fella.
Never noticed this lacecap next to the mophead hydrangeas before! Chalking this bloom up to a mild winter.
The purple Rose of Sharon is looking pretty good. Not as proliferous as others in the neighborhood, though.
The white Rose of Sharon looks much better than she did this time last year.
Something about these Cosmos ‘Xanthos’ really just draws me in.
The tomato harvest is looking promising! These Porterhouse tomatoes are going nuts, as are other varieties. Alas, both Yellow Pear tomato plants came down with disease and died.
