More from last week's trip to Wildwood with Mom.
I might have to start taking evening photo trips out there on my own during the week — while flower photography isn't exactly cutting-edge, it would help me improve my composition skills.
I had my "walkaround" lens (18-200mm) on the camera for this photo, but I really should head down to Wildwood with my 50mm macro, too. Good idea!
I've decided that I'm not going to buy a new DSLR until I've mastered the settings on my D50 first. I keep making rookie mistakes, like forgetting to switch up the ISO in low light, then wondering why I can't get a sharp image with no camera shake. :-P

I like to try to figure out my macro lens by photographing flowers as well. Although I have to admit I'm not very good at using our DSLR.
