Realized when my 19-mo-old started tantruming that I never finished reading Happiest Toddler by @DrHarveyKarp! Skipped to Ch 8 tonite.

I can hear my son happily babbling upstairs, awake from his nap. Putting off getting him up; afraid of a repeat of this morning’s tantrums.

Mindful eating is a good thing. But my mouth hurts from #braces AND my tummy is grumbling, and I’m still siding with my poor mouth.
