This was the view my husband and I enjoyed whilst sitting in comfy chairs, leisurely sipping dirty bananas in the nearly-deserted Morgan’s Bar (near the Kids’ Club where our son was playing).

During last week’s Spring Break trip to Jamaica, we spent an hour or so souvenir-shopping at the Shoppes at Rose Hall, where this stilt-walker was a popular paid photo-op for tourists. Luckily for me, my zoom lens let me snag this photo gratis from inside the coffee shop. 🙂

I rocked it old-school tonight: I sat in a chair and read a book. A Star Trek book, specifically. Snacks were also had.

This was our first vacation as a family of three, so we opted to return to an area my husband and I knew, but try a resort where we hadn’t yet stayed.The Catalonia ended up being awesome in some ways and very not awesome in others.
