Whew, there we go. Front end just needed to fetch the new Term_ID for my Status category. Not sure why some IDs got reassigned in the WP db.

OK, let’s try a different tack. This is the 1st time a WordPress upgrade has hosed anything like this.

Sigh. Nope. Deactivated, deleted, trying something different. Hooray for lunch breaks for WordPress troubleshooting.

I wonder if this new WordPress plugin will fix my Default Category woes. I’d rather fix it, but I’ll take the quickest option at this point.

I like fiddling with this stuff, but it’s like a black hole. I get sucked in. I’m just waiting to look up and see my husband home from work.
