Didn’t feel like doing Krav Zoom class this evening. Did it anyway. Usually that feels like a good decision in the end, but today’s class was a surprise Fitness Challenge. Now my back hurts, my arms are shaky, and I feel nauseated.

COVID-19 #coronapocalypse
I kept telling people that life was starting to feel like the opening chapters of a sci-fi novel. Schools closed, businesses closed, and “social distancing” becoming the new catch phrase. Shortages of toilet paper and hand sanitizer due to hoarding and panic.
This isn’t fiction. It’s reality. This was our local supermarket on March 15.

The days have gone by faster than I expected, and time has gotten away from me before I could properly blog/journal everything that’s going on. Luckily, i’ve been micro-journaling in the Exist app every night before bed, so I have a sort of timeline of the major takeaways of each day.


Krav Highlights
Considering that I really didn’t want to go to Krav Maga last night, it turned out to be a really good class.
Not Feeling It

Waiting for class. Jimmy John’s Unwich + grapes for dinner. Connor is done with his class and is playing his tablet in the back hallway. I’m sitting on the bench in the front lobby area, feeling tired after a day of intense problem-solving at work.
Not feeling like kicking butt tonight, but I know I’ll enjoy myself once I’m doing it.
Update, 9:30pm: Got sweaty, got to kick butt, and got my butt kicked. Good class (of course). Glad I went. Am now showered and chilling quietly with a snack before bed.
Yeah, yeah, that was good.
