
Today was Connor’s stagger-start day, where half of his class was in attendance. Tomorrow, the other half will have their staggered start, then Wednesday will be the first full day for all fifth-graders.

Sometimes, the little joys in life are the best… like introducing your son to breathing helium and talking like a munchkin.
Every month, when I write a check for the mortgage payment, I giggle inwardly at the fact that the amount due after escrow is so many dollars and 69 cents.

Today’s personal epiphany: I have trouble differentiating physical fatigue from depression or mental fatigue. When I can’t summon any cares to give, it doesn’t occur to me that I might just need to go to bed earlier tonight. #mentalhealth
