Dear @ProMedicaHealth,

Might I suggest that you install some outdoor benches in your Central Ave medical complex? Patients who show up early (like myself) might like to enjoy the weather and the landscaping rather than sit in a waiting room.

Sitting at the optometrist’s office, waiting for my eyes to dilate. At least they have a second waiting room for this, instead of leaving me in an exam room.

I’ve turned off search engine spidering on my blog and stopped crossposting to Twitter and Facebook. If you’re interested in what I’m up to (lately, it’s a lot of sewing and some gardening), put https://blog.dianaschnuth.com on your daily phone-surfing agenda.

My six-year-old just asked if he could come down from his room and meditate with me because it helps him calm down for bed. cc: @jayrinsenweik @danbharris #ParentWin #SecularBuddhist

My six-year-old stayed up way too late last night (and didn’t even get to see fireworks). This morning, he’s sleeping in like a teenager and I’m totally not getting him up until he’s got a solid 12 hours.
