During last week’s Spring Break trip to Jamaica, we spent an hour or so souvenir-shopping at the Shoppes at Rose Hall, where this stilt-walker was a popular paid photo-op for tourists. Luckily for me, my zoom lens let me snag this photo gratis from inside the coffee shop. 🙂

This was our first vacation as a family of three, so we opted to return to an area my husband and I knew, but try a resort where we hadn’t yet stayed.The Catalonia ended up being awesome in some ways and very not awesome in others.
I’ve got my fold-flat packable UPF 50 hat and my clip-on sunnies. So ready for Spring Break… especially while working from home in the aftermath of an ice storm.
I’ve been trying to expand my sewing skills slowly but surely, one project at a time. The project I’ve been chipping away at for the past few weeks is this throw pillow, made from a t-shirt I bought on vacation back in 2010.
Apparently @XelHaPark doesn’t want any more of my money; I’ve tried contacting them three times in the past week to purchase additional photos from them, since we only brought enough pesos for one photo and a plushie from the gift shop. At least I brought my camera.
