This month’s Bloom Day in Zone 6 features many more daylilies than I ever realized I had — so, about four, spread all about the property in unexpected places, as the previous owner was wont to do. Perhaps the deer repellant is working, or perhaps the mild winter helped coax some more blooms out?

Raspberries!

Shortly after we moved in, our neighbor gave us permission to pick raspberries from his raspberry bush that borders our fence. I assume permission given three or four years ago extends to today…?
We picked nearly a pint this morning, at Connor’s suggestion/insistence.
