Might I suggest that you install some outdoor benches in your Central Ave medical complex? Patients who show up early (like myself) might like to enjoy the weather and the landscaping rather than sit in a waiting room.

Sitting at the optometrist’s office, waiting for my eyes to dilate. At least they have a second waiting room for this, instead of leaving me in an exam room.

Sewing Project: Envelope Pillow with Piping
My second (non-plushie) post-pincushion sewing project was this envelope pillow with piping. I made a lot fewer mistakes on this one, and the finished product looks pretty classy — classy enough that I’m OK with the fact that my son is only kind of meh about the pillow, so it lives on the couch instead of in his bedroom.
