My husband bought me a weighted bag for my birthday last month. Still trying to figure out the best time to make use of it, since sounds in the basement can echo through the whole house.

Purchased in December 2018 as an upgrade from the iPhone 6. This was my main camera for three years, until I upgraded to an iPhone 8 for Christmas 2021.
Daffodils In Bloom
The earliest of the daffodils have been in bloom for about a week. This is one of the later early blooms; I’ll have another wave of bright yellow elsewhere in my garden in a few days.
I laid down this landscape fabric last year, and transplanted the daffodils in the green, prior to blooming. I’m pleased that several of them bloomed this year! I’m sure I’ll see even more color next spring, after more of them are settled in.
It can be a little strange to realize that I’m starting to see the long view when it comes to gardening. Next fall, next spring, expanding and transplanting and letting some borders grass over on purpose.
Sparkle
I borrowed Dad’s 3DS to play some Kirby Team Clash with Connor this morning. As I leveled up, I got this message, which amused me.

First bloom of the season: dwarf reticulated iris. Such a welcome sight this afternoon.
Not Feeling It
Waiting for class. Jimmy John’s Unwich + grapes for dinner. Connor is done with his class and is playing his tablet in the back hallway. I’m sitting on the bench in the front lobby area, feeling tired after a day of intense problem-solving at work.
Not feeling like kicking butt tonight, but I know I’ll enjoy myself once I’m doing it.
Update, 9:30pm: Got sweaty, got to kick butt, and got my butt kicked. Good class (of course). Glad I went. Am now showered and chilling quietly with a snack before bed.
Yeah, yeah, that was good.
